International White Scar Day Raises Awareness

The International White Scar Center, in collaboration with the Taiwan Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, has officially designated June 29th as "International White Scar Day." The goal is to raise global awareness about White Scars, eliminate them from patients' faces, and help those with cleft lip and palate rebuild their lives and face society with renewed confidence.

A Hong Kong woman in her 30s, currently working in the administrative field, recalls a vivid memory from her fifth-grade summer. During that summer, she was playing at home with her brother, who was three years older. Not knowing his strength, her brother accidentally pushed her, causing her to lose balance and hit her head directly on the edge of a table, resulting in a severe injury with blood streaming down her face.
